Enhanced Paper Inspection Through New Camera Technology

Enhanced Paper Inspection Through New Camera Technology

Tuesday, December 10, 2024 to Tuesday, December 10, 2024

Sponsored By: ISRA PARSYTEC GMBH

Time: 11:00am -12:00pm EST

This webinar will showcase ISRA VISION’s new NovaCore Web Inspection System, a key component of the NovaCore Vision suite. This innovative system integrates new high-speed cameras with superior image quality, providing detailed defect information for improved classification accuracy. By enabling multiple simultaneous scans with different illumination setups, it reduces the number of cameras required per sensor while maintaining full down-web resolution at high machine speeds.

Tailored for inspecting heavy grades, the NovaCore system achieves exceptional light sensitivity by combining data from multiple scanned lines without sacrificing resolution. This approach not only lowers energy consumption for illumination and LED cooling but also allows for clear differentiation between critical defects, such as holes and formation anomalies.

Featuring an advanced 16x8K LineScan camera that supports line rates up to 400kHz and is also available with a tri-linear color sensor. The system maintains resolution during color inspection.

By applying the deep-learning PEARL classification driven by AI technology, the NovaCore system elevates defect classification, empowering manufacturers to enhance their quality assurance processes. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover how NovaCore can transform your production!

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn how to apply the advantages of the new inspection system to the respective production process
  • Learn how a full inspection system with production analytics gets you closer to 100% production documentation
  • Identify gaps in participant´s operations and get ideas how to significantly reduce costs caused by avoidable web breaks not only in the paper production but also downstream in the slitting and winding process
