Shahrum Iqbal is the Global Vice President of Control Valves & Automation and Global Leader for Pulp & Paper, Sugar, and Geothermal Industries at Bray International, where he has dedicated over 11 years. He holds degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Military Sciences from Texas A&M University. An accomplished author, Shahrum has published numerous technical articles and presentations on control valves, automation, and valve selection guidelines for applications in the pulp & paper, sugar, and geothermal industries in various international forums and technical journals. He is also an active member of the Instrument Society of Automation (ISA) Standards Committee and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
