Industry Experts Take Center Stage at PPSA’s 81st Safety & Health Conference

The Pulp and Paper Safety Association (PPSA) is set to host its 81st Annual Safety and Health Conference, August 24-27, 2025 at the Marriott City Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. This esteemed event brings together safety professionals, industry leaders, and experts dedicated to enhancing workplace safety within the fiber-based industry.

A highlight of the conference is its lineup of three distinguished keynote speakers: Bill Sims, Jimmy Yeary, and Bob Edwards

Bill Sims
A globally recognized expert in behavioral safety, Bill Sims is a thought leader in positive reinforcement and safety leadership. For over 30 years, he has created positive reinforcement systems that have helped large and small firms to inspire better performance from employees and increase bottom line profits. Sims will share strategies to drive employee engagement and reduce workplace incidents through effective recognition and motivation techniques. He was recently selected as one of the top ten speakers by the National Safety Council.

Jimmy Yeary
