Join us in Celebrating 110 Years of TAPPI

1915-2025

For the past 110 years, TAPPI has helped members solve complex problems, amplified their voices within the industry, and served as a bridge connecting them with other professionals with whom they can network, learn and grow.

It all goes back to our start in 1915, when thirty enterprising papermakers gathered together determined to form a new technical arm of the American Paper & Pulp Association (APPA). Their idea was to gather and disseminate information. This forward-thinking group’s goal was to create a forum where information could be channeled and ideas exchanged. In less than a year, TAPPI was born and now, 110 years later, we celebrate the success of all our members.

We invite you to get involved, whether that’s attending the events, helping to plan them, or both. Simply contact John Addington to learn more. And please visit this page again for more updates

TAPPI is currently planning a full complement of fun and exciting events throughout 2025 celebrating its unique history, here is what we have upcoming.
