Advanced Coating Symposium 2026 Call for Speakers Now Open

ATLANTA (November 3, 2025) – The Advanced Coating Symposium 2026 Planning Committee is pleased to
announce the Call for Speakers is open through December 23, 2025.

TAPPI’s 17th Advanced Coating Symposium (ACS), April 26, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio, provides a platform for
industry leaders, researchers, and professionals to share cutting-edge advancements, innovative technologies,
and best practices in the realm of coating materials and applications. The Symposium aims to foster collaboration
and knowledge exchange among professionals in the coating industry.

"The Advanced Coating Symposium has a long-standing tradition of bringing together experts to explore the latest
developments in coating technologies," said Tyler Mast, TAPPI Division Manager. "We encourage academics,
researchers, and innovators to present their transformative technologies, and practical insights that are shaping
the future of coated paper and packaging materials."

Abstracts can cover a wide range of topics related to coating technologies, including but not limited to:

• Understanding of Substrate Requirements and Surface Characterization for Coatings
• Fundamentals & Mechanisms of Coatings
• Functional & Barrier Coating Applications
• Fundamentals of Coatings Requirement in Converting

less abstract via TAPPI’s Speaker Management System to be considered for the 2026 technical program.
