TAPPI is pleased to partner with Western Michigan University (WMU) to deliver training that will help you broaden and update your knowledge and understanding of the basics of recycled fiber collection, processing, use and market drivers. This is a 2.5-day course takes place in Kalamazoo Michigan on WMU's Engineering Campus. This training is designed for the newcomer to the paper recycling industry, as well as those with experience.

This training explores the converting processes of rolled products and how the quality and variability of tissue parent jumbo reels and soft rolls impact the runnability of these complex lines.

The course will provide the basic background and theory of environmental life cycle analysis and sustainability through lectures. Moreover, instructors will teach and train participants in an open-sourced software to conduct environmental analysis.
